  1. i own a takamine and owned a takamine before that one. first one was $450, current one was $500. amazing. never had any regrets. acoustic electric. built in tuner. cutaway. it was pricy, but i love it. if you really need cheap, i had a buddy that had an Ibanez Talman guitar. They're look weird, but play nice. $199-$260. different models. body feels more like an electric guitar and is smaller than an acoustic.

as for mics, i've never bought any, but the only brand i've ever seen used is SHURE.

  2. If you want a good acoustic electric guitar than look no further. Takamine is your best bet soundwise, quality-wise and action-wise.

These guitars are very well factory set and have been around . I rarely get these for repairs and when I do, it is merely for a slight adjustment.

These gitars are durable, with low action, and low maintenance. You can get a good deal for $300 and you will be surprise at the awesome finish.

Ovation have a price range similar but, the true sound of an acoustic is Takamine vs Ovation. Ovation is good but so awkward if you want to play sitting down. I mean awkward.

    Your choice......
