  1. I wouldn't recommend trying to learn a martial art from watching videos. If you use a video, chances are you'll end up doing it wrong. You need an instructor who can work with you and correct your mistakes. Find a good martial arts school close to you, no matter what style. Make sure you have a good sensei, sifu, sahbumnim, etc. Any martial art with an instructor is better than a video that tries to teach you a martial art in a few hours.

  2. If you are going to be studying on your own, I would suggest that you forget about Judo because that requires you to practice with a partner. (It would be about like attempting to  wrestle with yourself.)

There are so many different styles and forms in Tai Chi that you would have to do a bit more zeroing in.

The most popular Tai Chi styles (in order of the number of practitioners) are:

    Yang

    Wu

    Chen

    Sun

    Wu/Hao.

There are also dozens of new styles.

  3. your best bet is to buy a book on each of those arts. bookstores carry them, just ask. if not, they can order them. or you can stop by a store that sells equipment... if it sells traditional weapons, chances are it sells basic how-to books.

  4. flashmavi.com its the best
