She will be connecting flight in New Jersey, the next flight to Honduras leave in about 6 hours after she gets there. Can I see her at the airport? I called the airport and they said yes. But, how can that be possible if she doesn't a USA visa. the airport people told me I could meet her there at the restaurant.... Confused help

  1. Unless there is some exception for permanent residents of Spain, she will need to have at least a transit visa before she can even go through a U.S. airport.  Spanish citizens don't have to get visas before travelling to the U.S. but Hondurans do, so what the airline said would be true for a Spaniard, but I doubt it is true for a Honduran unless legal permanent residents of the EU have different requirements.  I would go to state.gov and go to the travel section under visa requirements.

  2. I always thought you could NOT come anywhere in the US w/o a visa. But IF she can get to the airport.. she can exit security.. and meet you.
