  1. if your going to ask for a service, state your location. bit hard to use a USA service if your in Australia now isnt it. secondly, you can do this yourself. there are hundreds of programs freely available of the internet (aka Google) however depending on your countries copy write laws, copying a dvd onto a hard drive may be illegal (but its normally only illegal if you then make copies and sell them). also if you do it yourself, you should consider exactly what you want to do with it once it is one your computer. if you wish to back up a movie, i would suggest a program like dvdshrink. this allows you not only to create backup dvd's which are playable in dvd players, but it also automatically shrinks the movie so it can fit on a standard 4.7 gig dvd, at the cost of video quality (most dvd's today are on higher capacity 8 gig discs, which are much more expensive and harder to get than the 4.7 gig counterpart). if however you simply wish to watch the movie on your computer, it is easer to use a dvd ripping program that will convert the movie into a single video file, playable on such programs as windows media player or real player. however again these files can be either larger than 4.7 gig or, depending on their format, can have much less quality and resolutions. also remember that dvd's are large files and can quickly fill your hard drive if you go overboard.
