I've read that only junior year PSAT scores count and not sophomore year. Is this true?

  1. Neither one of them do! The PSAT is a PRACTICE SAT. The score results just show how you would score on the SAT. I really didn't think that they were anything alike thought.

  2. PSAT's dont count at all thats why tey stand for practice SAT's the actual SAT's do matter tho

  3. the PSAT is just what it says: a practice test. No schools will ever seeit. It is an indcication of what subjects you need to work on, and a pratice in taking a 4 hour test. It gives you a feel for the way the test is layed out and how the questions are worded, and it is an opportunity for you to learn test taking strategy, see how you do, and then work on the areas you could impove upon.

  4. true, sophomore year doesn't toward national merit awards, you have to be a junior
