Does soy milk contain caffeine?

I want to try soy milk 'cause I'm lactose-intolerant and Lactaid isn't available in my area but I avoid caffeine. Does soy (or soy beans)

contain caffeine?

no, by itself it doesn't. The only way soy milk would is if someone added it, like they make vanilla soy milk or strawberry flavour

No.  But do read the ingredients on flavored soy milk (its also a good habit to start with beverages if you are avoiding caffeine).  They may have added caffeine extra, or anything thats like a soy chai tea latte type stuff.   It doesnt list caffeine as an ingredient but it's a tea latte, so yeah theres caffeine in that obviously.

no, but its some good stuff.  I really like the chocolate and the vanilla flavored soy milk brands, the regular is alright.  I'm not lactose-intolerant I just drink it because its good for the heart and plus it lowers the cholesterol.
