I'm speaking of La Croix sparkling water. No calories or artificial sweeteners and no sodium. The ingredients simply read: Carbonated water, natural flavor (it's lemon). Will this provide my body with the same healthy effects as bottled or tap water would?

  1. It's just as good for hydration, as tap water or bottled water.

But remember, the carbonation is acidy, so take care of your teeth by rinsing your mouth with tap water several times during the day. Just rinse your teeth when you're by a sink anyway, f.ex. to wash your hands.

  2. Most bottled water has flouride, so you'll be missing out on that. And tap water has minerals that good for your body. But Sparking water still is water and will keep you hydrated, only thing is, the added carbon will gas up you stomach a bit more than regular water. No biggy though, you'll just burp a bit more.

  3. It will still hydrate you the same as regular tap water except it is carbonated and flavored.  Water has no nutrients, although you can become dehydrated without it.

  4. yes, its better than not drinking water at all
