I am wondering this because I recently had what I thought was a period (It has been almost a year since I'd had one) but it only lasted a day and my friend pointed out that since it only lasted a day I might have just been spotting and then she said oh! you might be pregnant! lol I don't think I am but that is besides the point, I am curious if spotting during pregnancy would be temporary or last throughout the entire pregnancy....any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  1. I dont know, never experienced that. Most women never spot or bleed during pregnancy.

  2. you can get spotting all the way through pregnancy in some rare cases. But no, its normally in the first three months.

I hope that i have helped.

  3. i had spotting for about the first 3 period times - the last was very light though and hardly worth mentioning but I knew what it was.  I don't know if it goes the whole way through.

  4. I had my period for a few days when I was pregnant thats why i didn't know i was pregnant right away.

When my friend T was pregnant she had her period all threw out her pregnancy.
