NO! Coke needs to be kept under pressure....taking the air out does just the opposite.

If you shake up a Coke and then release the gases, the Coke will become flat sooner.

No. Just the opposite. If there is already air in there then when the bottle is closed the pressure over the liquid will slow down the rate at which more gas is lost. If you get rid of that air on top new gas will come out of the fizzy drink to replace it and it will go flat faster.
