Does squinting your eyes actually help you see clearer?

  1. Squinting will help you see clearer while you are doing it.  It reduces the size of the pupil, reducing aberrations, like a pinhole camera.  It will not hurt or help your eyesight permanently, though.

  3. To a point it does.  When you squint you are slightly changing the shape of the eyeball. Nearsightedness is when the eye itself is too long and shortening it by squeezing (in this case with squinting) will make things a little clearer.  Of course, glasses would be much better.  

  4. yes it doees, but it may not be too good and cause headaches , so i recomend contacts if you are asking this question bc you dont want glasses.
