  1. Ive heard yes it helps some ppl yet some not at all. Its NOT like a rx and doesn't work like a rx. Herbal medicine is more for thoughts of the mind.

With every one is different so maybe you might get a reaction, mildly but not serious..read labels and research. Yes I tried it temp a cpl weeks, It wasn't what I needed so I had to seek medical help for the good stuff that kept me sane. :).

  2. It helps me, but then I take it along with perscription antidepressants - the side effects of st. john's wort are typical though not as profound as perscription drugs and I usually just had nausea and stomach upsets. There's definitely something to it, since its clinically proven, but all things in moderation.

  3. I use it.  It helps a little but it's no miracle cure.  I mean it won't solve all of your problems but it does help.

It's very safe if used properly and it has other medicinal qualities that are beneficial.  It has been found to kill MRSA and it helps reduce alcohol intake among other things.

Over use and drug interactions can be dangerous.  You will be more sensitive to sunlight as well.

  4. I'm not sure. It helps OCD though!

  5. I don't know if it helps with clinical depression as much as it might enhance somebody who is just generally in a bad mood.  I have been taking it for a couple days now and I think I'm depressed but I have not noticed a change in my mood whatsoever. I suggest if you're depressed you talk to your doctor, he/she will decide if you need medication, etc.
