Does state farm send insurance checks in the mail?

or do they have some one write one up in person, they did for the car when they totaled it out, just wondering if they'll just write it in person for the others

  2. Some agents, in some states, have "check authority" for small claims.  Usually it's for little stuff like towing, broken windshields, etc.

    If they didn't write you a check on the spot, then they'll send you one in the mail.

  4. ~~It can be done either way. State Farm has done both for us, we've received by mail and then also our agent issues them. We had allot of damage when a pipe broke and the adjuster wrote us a check when he finished his estimate of damage.~~
