Does sterling silver help heal your ear piercings?

if i have STERLING SILVER earrings on after piercing, will it help heal it? and i am not allergic to any metal...thx

Yes; if the post of the earring is silver, you will be less likely to become infected.  Silver is antibacterial, and since bacteria slow the healing process, a silver earring will help your piercing heal.

No. Don't use sterling silver earrings in fresh piercing.

Not really.  If you aren't allergic, it won't hurt.  But even if you aren't, it causes the skin around the piercing to turn black.
