Does straight teeth run in the family?

Like if you have a person with straight teeth (female) and a person with bad teeth (male), and they have kids. Will the child have bad teeth, or have a high chance for it?

I don't think so. My dad had to wear braces, my mom didn't but should have had them. And my brother has like perfect teeth and never wore braces. And I have braces right now...
