  1. Hah funny enough i was wondering the same thinggg.

I think it can but im not sure on that .

But I know not washing ur hair on a daily basis and using alot of hair products can cause it, a poor diet && stress can all cause dandruff !

    Hope that helpsss.

  2. it doesn't it just damages your hair because you are burning it to be straight ..

    But blow drying causes dandruff

  3. If you're straightening it daily, I would guess that you're using a straightening iron rather than a chemical straightener, but either one can cause dry, flaky scalp by overexposure to the chemical(s) or to the heat.

If you feel you must continue the daily straightening, try washing your hair with lukewarm, rather than hot, water.  If you've been using a blow-dryer, air-dry or towel-dry your hair instead; and use a moisturizing hair and/or scalp conditioner.  Avoid hair care products that contain alcohol, because they can dry the scalp.

Real dandruff isn't caused by dry scalp as such, but is a skin disorder that, itself, can cause dry scalp.  If you do have dandruff, there are a number of shampoos on the market which may help you control it, but do some research (links below), as some causes and remedies may be dietary.
