Does subaru make a vehicle with a V8 engine?

I want a car that is going to give me the best gas mileage but will be able to pull a smaller boat

  1. subaru does not make a v8, they dint even make a v6, what they make are called "flat fours" and "flat sixes" the 2.5 "flat fours" in the legacy outbacks are sufficient enough to pull a boat, not of bigger size, but i have seen them pulling about 15 foot boats.


  2. no.  they do make a 6 cylinder available in the legacy/outback and the tribeca.

  4. Subaru doesn't make a V8 but they've been making a flat six since the late 80's. Anyone remember the 1988-1991 Subaru XT6 or the 1992-1997 Subaru SVX? Currently the Outback and Tribeca or the ones to have if you want an H6 engine.
