I have a teensy-weensy problem thinking why animals that live and drink water in swamps and wetlands were not poisoned nor experience diarrhea, but why people do poisoned nor expeience diarrhea, dysentery, tuberculosis, or other diseases when they drink water from this sources. Does swamp waters poisonous nor disease-causing? Explain your answer.

  1. Everywhere u go their is something that causes disease, the only reason u don't feel the affect is you immune system, the animals in the swamp have become immune to the viruses and diseases in those areas while we haven't, remember Europe didn't have swamps and many of these diseases so they never developed immunity to these diseases. So when they traveled many of them died, also the killed tens of thousands of natives, with small pox and more.

  2. Swamp-water is no worse than the source of your municipal or private well water. If you buy your water, ask for a copy of the CCR (consumer confidence report) you will see what your supplier is allowed to send thru the mains. It could be a lot worse. The U.S. has relatively strict rules for drinking water. You should see what the WHO (World Health Organization) allows! And some municipal or private water supplies don't even meet that!

  3. Swamps and wetlands are the most important filtering systems that clean up the other waters ,

Swamp waters are rich in microbes that compost and breakdown pollutants ,the flora absorb dangerous metals and lift them out of the water with the building of the leaves, they prevent diseases if anything

But it is not good to drink unless you have  specialized stomach acids

Anything with the great variety of life that swamps support is not poisonous

when there are no fish or birds ,like in stagnant ponds than you have to worry

as long as you see plenty of life the water is healthy

and can be filtered and purified enough to drink

chloride also cleans and disinfects and we don`t drink that either

you are trying to blend two different concepts
