Does sweating affect acne or make it worse?

  1. Sweat contains bacteria that may get into pores and make acne worse, especially if a shower is not taken right away.  Sweating is a good way to get rid of wastes, but if the wastes are not washed off immediately, skin problems might surface.


  2. It makes it worse.

    When you sweat, it is coming out of the unclogged pores and going on the clogged pores (pimples, acne).

    When you sweat, toxins are released. Those toxins will be absorbed right back into your skin and with the acne/pimples if you don't wash them right away.

    You sweat from the clogged pores too, but it does not come out, causing inflammation and more breakouts.


  3. I dont think it does. If anything it would declog the pores, i would have thought
