  1. No, you can't sweat out a cold. If you have a fever you can make it spike and get higher. That is damaging on a body, so i don't suggest it at all. Fluids help get rid of a cold quicker. Flooding your body with plenty of water and fluids. No sodas, no sugary drinks. Soups with lots of broth in them, or straight broth if you can hack it.

Viruses cannot live with fluid. They need you to dry out. Throwing on sweats and walking will help you dry out more and help this cold get a hold of you.

You can get zicam to also help you get rid of a cold easier. Also, being on a daily vitamin can help. Eating very healthy veggies and fruits can help. Natures real vitamins and minerals. But don't over cook the veggies and don't think canned or jar ones are as good! Frozen are better if you have to go that way. Steam lightly any fresh veggies to get the nutrients out of it. Or eat raw.

Colds don't come from being sad. I never read such a stupid statement in my life. Your being in a bad state of mind can help weaken your system if you stay in it too long. But it won't cause you to have a cold and stopping being sad won't help heal you.

  2. Toxins in your body are eliminated through your sweat.  You need to drink lots of water and allow your body to flush out the toxins.  If you feel like exercising, then do some light exercise but don't push yourself.  Your body will need energy to overcome the effects of the toxins.

Often a cold is a symptom of being sad.  Do things to lighten your mood and see if the cold symptoms go away.  Exercise may help your mood.

In general, drink lots of water eat fruit and raw vegetables if possible.  Avoid processed food that will only increase the toxin load your body is dealing with.

A detox like Nutra Cleanse available at http;//www.free2bme.ws  will help prevent toxin build up in the future.

  3. No but if you are also running a fever it could make you collapse from dehydration.  When you have a cold take a zinc supplement and something for the fever and go to bed.  Stay home until your fever has been normal for 24 hours.  That is the way to get healthy again faster and not pass the "bug" on to your friends.
