  1. The more it looks like PGA, the more it is fundamentally correct.  And, that is what is proven to give you the best results.  So, looking at it from this perspective, "yes" it really matters, and matters a lot.

  2. Nope.  Swing doesn't matter.

The most important thing is to find a swing which is easily repeatable and allows you to bring the clubface squarely back to the ball with consistency.

  3. u can try either way but i try to have my own but hte same way i swing once because when u hit it once right and long it will go the same direction.....jus remember to keep yur head down

  4. It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing.

  5. The only thing that is important is the position of the club face in relation to the ball at point of impact. How you get the club face to that position is up tp you.

  6. A poor swing will net a poor shot.  You don't have to have a PGA Tour level swing, but rhythm and tempo do matter.

  7. There are no two swings exactly alike .. so your answer is no. There are some fundamentals that will help you be more consistent, but the main area is what happens during impact. The old saying is the ball doesn't know how the club got there. Acceleration through the impact area with good club face positioning is all that matters.

  8. Look at Jim Furyk,John Daley,Freddie Couples, they all have their own swing, every golfer has his/hers own swing. The key is clubface square at impact. If you can find a swing that does this then master it. If you master it I only request 1% of your earnings on the PGA Tour. Thanks and await your progress.
