  1. No, we don't.

    We, however, do have similar discount dapartment stores such as:

    * BIG W

    * K-Mart

    * Target.

    and for other department stores, we have here are Myer and David Jones.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Wal mart is an American Shop and are not as yet in Australia. However we do have many types of Department stores at every socio economic level.

    Warehouse

    K Mart

    Big W

    Target

    Myers

    David Jones

    They are the biggest chains and the list goes on.

  3. I have a friend living in the US and she says that our K-mart is similar to your Wal-mart. Where did you want it in walking distance from? you didn't state that area

  4. No. There are absolutely no wal-marts in Australia and their isn't going to be.

    I believe wal-mart is American, It's not Australian at all.

  5. No. we dont have a wall mart in sydney.

    We have Big W, Kmart, Target.. etc..

    Just go to a shopping centre, something like westfields. you can find those places there.

  6. There are no Wal-Marts in Australia.

  7. Not yet. I believe it is in the works though.

  8. No, but our chains are (just to name a few)

    Coles

    Woolworths

    IGA

    Franklins

    Bi-Lo

    Harris Farm Markets

    Aldi

    The Warehouse

    Big W

    Target

    K-Mart

    David Jones

    Myer

  9. Nope, we don't have any wal-marts.

  10. You don't need a walmart over there. There are plenty of other supermarkets where you can buy your things at. You can go to Coles, Aldi and similar shops.

  11. you're right there are no Walmarts in Australia but speaking as an Australian living in the US Ive noticed the same marketing at Walmart as at Big W...

    the yellow smiley face with the "we sell for less" is at both stores...is the one that stands out the most...

    given that Walmart is a HUGE company with everything copyrighted Im guessing that they are owned by the same company...

  12. None, at all.

    Thank God we don't, too.

  13. targets u dumb #$%^&^&

  14. As already said, Kmart, Target, Big W would be the closest, just be advised that Kmart doesnt sell groceries. For those you need Coles or Woolworths.
