I run every day about 9 miles and within the run I stop at leaste 3 times to get water at stores nearby. Should I limit the amount of breaks I take/the length of time I stop?

  1. i dont htink it matters how often u drink (not to often though) but you have to take very small sips so you dont get cramps. nothing is worse than running with a cramp!!!!!

  2. You should only stop for water 1 or maybe 2 times and just drink more water. I'm 14 years old and 6 months ago it was 60 degrees outside and I ran 10 miles without stopping for water.

  3. If you are well hydrated before you start, then you probably only need to stop once or twice along the way, as long as it is not too hot.  What I do on a long run is to run several loops that end at my house, and I keep water out on my front porch.   You can use www.MapMyRun.com to figure out how long a run is.    And you can use this guide to find anything else you want to know about running.
