  1. On a 4 stroke No.

    On a 2 stoke No

Also if you have a 2 stoke it does not need a spark arrester just any sliencer. Because 2 strokes dont back fire.

Any way removing a spark arrestor makes HP

  2. no

  3. not at all

  4. On a 2 stroke the exhaust is called the spark arrestor or silencer.

On a 4 stroke the exhaust has a baffle inside that is taken out with just a simple s***w. There is no damage done to the bike if you do this. The bike will be louder and breathe more easily and may run better but it will not hurt it.

If you remove a spark arrestor off a two stroke and just run the engine with just a pipe then yes you will hurt it.

If you have a two stroke and you ride it in the woods then it DOES need a spark arrestor.

  5. spark arrestors are two strokes Baffels Are four strokes. You can take the spark arrestor out, but in National parks and designated areas you could gert fines tickets or even jail time for no spark arrestor.

  6. no  but it's loud as h**l ain't it. throw a pod filter on that thing take out the silencer and roll on. there is no difference in the spark arrestor and the baffle.
