  1. Of course tea counts as water.  What do you make it with?  WATER!  The news lately said that you need your fluids, but they don't have to be plain water.  The thing about tea is that it can act as a diuretic and make you lose fluids.  As long as you drink plenty of fluids, they don't have to be plain water, although plain water will rehydrate you (say, after exercise) faster.

  2. Definitely not, for the same reason as coffee doesn't. Both of them are diuretics (believe it or not, tea is worse)--they extract water from your system so that outgo exceeds income. Result: you won't be taking and holding water, so your organs won' be flushed back to health.

  3. yes..tea counts as a liquid

  4. No.  Water counts as water...not tea, or coffee, or anything else.

  5. Use your common sense

you work as a fire fighter take your salt pills and drink water

you sit all day at the PC as you please

    8 - - 8oz ???? who came up with that number

just more stress nonsense,, unless your working hard drink as you like and what you like

  6. No it doesn't, cause tea has caffeine, which drains the body of water.

  7. Tea is the second most widely consumed beverage in the world, exceeded only by the most necessary of all liquids - water. Tea is an integral part of everyday societal life in many of the world’s most populous countries. This has made tea the most popular beverage for a huge swath of the world’s people.
