  1. So your saying a roster with

    Kobe

    Lebron

    Tayshaun Prince

    Howard

    Bosh

    Boozer

    Kidd

    CP3

    D-Will

    Redd

    Melo

    Wade

Can't beat a very soft big in Gasol and a guy who got cut from the Grizzlies who is Navarro

If you say that then you sir need to get some help and the reason that Fernadez guy is good because he plays in Europe

    Edit:

Hey but not with this roster. This roster is much better than in 2004 and 2006.

Edit #2:Yeah because he plays in Europe. He can be the Spanish JJ Reddick in the NBA.

  2. What up Rudy4MVP,

Your question is does the US Team have a chance... off course they do.  On paper the US is the most talented team in the tournament and the favorite.

Yes i concur that Rudy Fernandez is a talent- and we'll get a glimpse of how good he'll be playing against NBA talent.  And you can't really say that TEAM USA will continue to struggle just because they've struggled in the recent years- that's why players who have not played in past Olympics have joined the team- and the members of TEAM USA were more specifically chosen - for specific roles.  You also have TEAM USA actually studying the international game and a lot less cocky (not taking for granted they'll win because of recent struggles).  These are legitimate reasons that team USA has more than just a chance to win.

Off course Spain has been a very good international team - has some NBA players on it- but overall talent caliber does not compare to the United States.  The United States need to play with a desparation and respect that they can lose to anyone- (pride before destruction) but i think they are focused- and as one of the teams that can challenge team USA i think team USA will be humble and yet focused to take on and take out Spain.

  8. Dude, I'm a Blazer fan, and i'm excited for Rudy to come to portland, but come on...KOBE IS 1000000000000000 TIMES better than Rudy EVER will be...Kobe can lock him down with his hands tied behind his back...

  10. everyone has a chance. Spain went 5-0 in 2004 olympics then was eliminated in quarterfinals by USA team that was 3-2.  Argentina which lost to Spain in elims ended up as champions. Spain with 6-1 record placed 7th.
