its reality tv.....they may look like they've just rushed down to the furniture shop to play air guitar to some very lame 'rock' track...but in fact they're auditioning for the post of part time junior sales assistant...its tough on the cutting edge of retail!!!!

It is cringe making, but i have to admit watching those weird people playing air guitar and miming is quite watchable.. Plus i have to confess a liking for that song.. its thanks to that advert, i had to get that song to add it to my ipod... its also my message alert tone on my phone!.. And... What do you know, the very advert is on right as i type...

The ad is irritating beyond belief.  So lame.  Though because we all know about it,you've got to say it's effective.  Maybe it's only appreciated by the target audience:

It might have been better if they'd used Guns n Roses instead of Nickleback. Or if it was replaced altogether by a 2 minute biopic of the Chuckle Brothers.
