  1. Yeah my parents are American citizens but I was born in Turkey and I am a dual citizen.

  2. Yes they can.  There may be a process to confirm citizenship.  Ask the local embassy or consulate what papers to fill out.

  3. 1) The US does not recognize "dual citizenship"  So the child would not have dual citizenship as far as the US government is concerned.

    2) Mexico and most civilized governments do recognize dual citizenship, so the child would have dual citizenship as far as the Mexican Government is concerned.

    3) Hope that clears it up for you ;)

  4. It depends on where the child was born.  Many countries do not give somebody citizenship just for being born there, for example most of Europe.  They are supposed to get citizenship through their parents instead.

If the baby was born in the UK and the parents are US citizens, he would only be a US citizen.  If he was born in the US and the parents are UK citizens, he would have dual citizenship.
