Does the 120 gb hardrive for 360 transfer everthing over?

Im thinking about getting the 120 gb hardrive for me 360 and I was wondering I know it comes with a transfer kit but can anyone verify that it does transfer every little crook and cranny? I mean every game save downloaded item and such.
