  3. If you have the SEL trim. The base and SE probably does not, but you can check.

    1) Put your key in the ignition and turn it to the "Run" position (not the "start" position which will start your car). The vehicle's on board computer will do a system check of the vehicle. If your car has tire sensor, you will see the indicator light up. (Google TPMS for a picture)

    2) Deflate one of your tires to a psi that you know is more than 5psi below the recommended inflation pressure. This will trigger the TPMS if you have it. Then re-inflate to make it go away. The sensors will not activate a warning light if you are within 5psi of the recommended tire pressure.

    TPMS is required by the Feds for the 2008MY.
