i would say yes but really it all depends on how much memory you plan to use up if you like to have a lot of pictures or music then i would recomend the 8G but i have the 4G iPhone and i love it best phone i've ever had it really has just about eveything you need

no. my iphone's screen is falling apart (ACTUALLY SPLITTING IN HALF) i havn't even used it YET!

yeah it really is. My boyfriend bought one on the release date and I'm incredibly jealous/use it every time I see him lol. I really want one but can't afford it for a few months. The applications on it are amazing and easy to use. Switching between iPod and phone is amazing and so simple as well. The interface is gorgeous and the price is unbeatable. The browser works so incredibly well it's ridiculous.

You should definitely get one if you're considering a new phone, or maybe if you just randomly want one. They're definitely worth it.

The apple iphone 3g is a really good phone however since I have bought it i have noticed a few things that i didn't think would bother me but really do. For example the lack of video camera doesn't help and also the main camera can be quite annoying! There is only one camera on the back of the phone so if you need to take a pic of yourself you have to turn the phone completely around and then you can't find the button to press as it is touch screen and has no bump so you can find it! Also there is no flash or other photo options such as black and white or sepia! However apart from that and the fact that the phone is a bit of a beast when it comes to size i do think that it is a very good phone. It is easy to use, has a lot of memory (like a normal ipod) and you can get signal and internet everywhere! I would definately recommend this phone as long as those few things don't bother you! :)
