Question:

Does the ACLU do more harm than good? ?

Simple question, I do believe there are some needs the ACLU meets, but in recent years, I believe they have done far more harm than good. So much harm that they have become more of liability than an asset. What are you thoughts on this? If you agree, how can this be fixed?

  1. I'm not sure what harm you're talking about.  Perhaps if you gave us an example of the damage you think the ACLU has done?

  2. As a Libertarian I did believe the ACLU got it right far, far more often than they got it wrong.  But then they took on the crusade of NAMBLA hustling young boys for a romp in the hay as simple "free speech" and that pretty much signaled the end of that.  They have since evolved into generally another leftist house organ.  I gave up my membership years ago, but curiously still get the occasional mailed pitch and phone call (that's me with the instant hang up, ACLU phone bank manners).

  3. yes

  4. The ACLU is an organization that was founded with the right intentions, controlled by liberals, doing the worst harm to America. They have ruined their credibility, and now are nothing more than hindrances to progress in the US. We reap what we sow.
