AP test is only for college credit. It has nothing to do with your class grade.

I have heard of cases where certain schools have had a student's AP score factor into their final exam grade. However, I don't know how they do it, since scores are reported back in July and school is over by then. Otherwise, it is just used for college credit. Hope this helps.
