Does the Apple store sell the iPhone 3g unlocked and for how much for the phone alone?

no where sells the iphone unlocked unfortunatley...ive tried!!

What you can do is sign up for a plan with AT&T from the store, buy the iPhone 3G, and then if you cancel it within 30 days, and be fined $200 for it. But once you pay that $200, you've got an unlocked iPhone 3G, although don't go putting a T-Mobile SIM card in there. For some reason the hardware is only computable with the AT&T network. But hey, now you have a GPS and Camera iPod touch...and no phone.
