Does the Bay Area in California have water restrictions?

I used to live in Los Angeles and there were severe water restrictions around this time of year. I was wondering if there were any water restrictions in the Bay Area, specifically the city of Sunnyvale, CA.

Just wondering how frequently I can water my garden.

its best to water anything in the evening, it holds the water in longer than out in the bright sun, the sun just drys out the water rright away so there is no point.
