Does the Bexar county deputy sheriffs deparment hire often?

I was wondering if they always keep the job openings just open no all year. Does it take a long time for them to review the online applications? Any information is great.

It depends on what you are looking for.  There are always positions open for jailers, but rarely are their positions open for deputy sheriff officers / patrolmen.  Working corrections is no picnic, it is a very challenging job and one that is rarely rewarding, this results in a high turnover and consequently a strong demand for entry level officers.
