Does the BlackBerry 8300 have a notepad?

I'm getting a BlackBerry 8300 and I want to be able to write lyrics with it because I'm a music artist. Does the BlackBerry 8300 have a notepad or something that I can use to write lyrics with? Oh and is the BlackBerry 8300 newer than the BlackBerry 8800?

The 8800 and the 8300 have the same processor and same amount of internal memory, so one is not faster than the other. The 8300 is a newer device than the 8800.

There is also a free, third-party Notepad application that allows you to save memos to a media card, instead of just the internal memory like the Memopad that comes with the Blackberry. The program is called BBNotePad, and it can be downloaded here: http://www.troybrownpc.com/BBNotePad.jad

Yes, all BB's have the Notepad function. The 8800 is a bit bulkier than the 8300 but it is faster. I'm not sure about it being new, the 8800 is just a better phone.
