Does the CHI keep your hair straight all day? PLEASE ANSWER URGENT!?

I am thinking about buying this for school, but I'd like to know if it keeps hair straight all day long..? I have semi-thick hair with a TON of layers. I have school for 7 hours a day and I'd like it to keep my hair straight all day long. Does it? Or should I buy a different straightener? (Please dont talk about the price with me I can afford it and I'm not asking about the price.)

Yes the chi will make your hair straight all day. But I find it to be drying. I bought an iron called a T3 Tourmaline, and it keeps my hair straight all day, but it makes it super silky and shiny too. I swear my hair looks like a pantene commercial from it. You can get either the wet/dry one or the duality one (it straightens and can be used as a curling iron because it heats up on both sides). Its about $200, but you can get it on ebay for like $70. I love this iron, its really amazing

the chi works well its about $100 but the ghd works even better all day long even in humid weather its about $205 from sephora

yes. I have a chi and the same type of hair. If I straighten it one day I don't even ahve to re-straighten it for the next. (of course i shower I just don't wash my hair everynight) But a chi is the best way to go.
