Does the CIA or MI5 have the authority to make 'annoying' people 'disappear'?

  1. No, they don't.  But there are plenty of cases of all sorts of people throughout history doing things they don't have the authority to do.  That's the difference between the power to do something, and the authority to do something.

  6. Nope, if they did, at least half of the people on here would "disappear".. oh, and since you used CIA, MI6 WOULD be a better comparison... CIA and MI6 do things outside of their respective Country.

    The FBI, and MI5 do things inside their respective Country, but both do things away from their respective borders, in support of a specific mission that leads them that direction.
