  1. It does work, but mine is collecting dust.  It is more difficult to set up, it will not work with all papers and it can get expensive  when you start buying all the cartridges.  I already owned a Sizzix die cut machine, and I like it much, much more than the Circuit.  I can use all kinds of paper, it's fast and easy to use, and I can even cut fabric to make appliques for clothing, decorations, etc.  It is just more versatile and you get more for your money.

  2. I recommend getting the SCAL software (Sure Cuts a Lot), if you get the Cricut... then you can cut any electronic file (converted to SVG), just like the other more expensive cutters.  Mats and blades are way cheaper and if there is a Joanne's in your area, they'll accept their 40-50% off coupons on the mats and blades.

  3. ~ yup. I bought the silhouette. But after a crop one weekend a friend had bought the cricut. I feel in love with it. Sold my silhouette on E-Bay and bought the cricut. I have yet to have issues with it. Took a bit to figure out the pressure settings for different types of paper but now I am a pro.

IF I CAN USE IT ANYONE CAN !!
