Does the Diamondback Knuckle Box Rear Suspension hit your calf while pedaling?

I rode a Diamondback with the Knuckle Box rear suspension and after a moderate ride was left with bruising on both calves. Is this common or am I a genetic freak with giant calves?

  1. Probably, they draw up a bike and put it in production...  they really don't have a real R&D department.

  2. I had the same problem with the exact same rear suspension model design.  I'm pretty athletic and probably have a bit wider calves than the normal person.  After a several hour ride both of my calves were completely bruised.

I wonder if anyone else has ever had this happen?
