Almost all hotels have irons and ironing boards in the rooms, and if they are not in each room, they will be available.

Same with hair dryers.

Very few French hotels have irons in the room.  Usually all you need to do is call reception  to have one delivered to the room.

i'm sure they do just call room service when you get there if you don't see one in the  room .
