Is there a different SAT/ACT test administered to 7th and 8th graders?

e.g. It's the Search's own, modified, standardized test rather than the more difficult SAT/ACT.

  1. I think the program is only for 7th graders, because that's what it was a few years back when I did it.  In response to your question, though, the ACT or SAT that the 7th graders take is exactly the same as the one that the high school students take that day.

In 7th grade, I took the ACT (because of the Duke Talent Identification Program), along with a few of my friends.  We took the same test as all of the high school students who were there.

I can vouch that it is the real deal (on the test), because I got a 22 on the ACT at age 13 (which is above the current national average for HIGH SCHOOL students).  I took the ACT for real this past school year, and got scores of 30 (Sept. 2007), 31 (Dec. 2007), and 33 (June 2008).
