And what ultimatelly happens to food mountains?

It has food mountains becasue it pays subsidies to farmers to grow stuff we dont completely use.

Excess food goes to foreign aid or as animal feed.  It doesnt get given out to EU citizens at a lower price becasue supermarkets etc have profits to maintain.
