Does the European Union have any similarities to the U.S.?

Question

If I'm to understand, the EU does have it's own currency, although not every nation has been willing 2 adopt the euro, e.g. U.K., Denmark. & I would look @ the Wikipedia article, but I don't have all day. So I just need some good comparisons between the EU & the United States.

The people running the world are rapidly devaluing the US dollar (including via unnecessary war) to unite all American continent countries to use the Amero dollar. The end is near for the USA. Buy a gun and ammo.

Yes; illegal immigration...  I live in Germany and the illegal workers coming in from Poland and Turkey remind me of the Mexicans in America.  Also I wouldnt be too discouraged about the dollar it is still worth more in American than the Euro is in Europe i.e. Gas in Germany is €1,45/litre if you do the cost conversion to what Gas is per Gallon in america dollars and convert that to Euro, then you are paying about €0,45/litre.  So be thankful for that.

EU is an organization of many countries just like the America which is composed of many states.  Thus, economy is improved and security is fostered in the region.

Well the EU has done what the US has done but with countries instead of states in order to gain more buying power and make themselves economically stronger. If you have a passport to any of the countries in the EU, you can live and work legally in any one you choose to.

I don't think you can compare the US to the EU.  EU is more like NAFTA, or the notorious North American Union which the business owners and the governments of Canada, US and Mexico are trying to accomplish.NAU would introduce Amero, which is supposed to be the currency for NAU.  countries in EU maintain the sovereignty while lifting the hurdles in trades.  on the other hand, all the states in the US are considered America.

anyways, if Amero becomes reality, average Americans, Canadians and Mexicans are so doomed.  only the rich will profit from it.

The EU is much similar to what the United States used to be like.  In its current form, the EU is a confederation of states, which is exactly what the US was before the Civil War.  Today, they both are establishments of capitalist, Western liberal democracies.  They both have similar economic and military stability concerns, particularly Russia and the Middle East.  They are the two economic super-powers.  They both have a significantly increasing immigration population.
