Does the Frozen Coke Icees contain the actual Coke soda or is it artificial flavoring ?

See I just wanted to prove to someone that it would be just about like drinking Cokes everyday . And people please have researched answers and/or logical explinations... In other words , DON'T GUESS!!! Thanks so much !

YES it does and here is a recipe for you to try!!

Ingredients

2 cups sugar

2 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon baking soda

3 tablespoons cocoa

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 egg

1/2 cup margarine or butter

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup Coke

2 cups miniature marshmallow

Icing

1/2 cup margarine or butter

3 tablespoons cocoa

6 tablespoons Coke

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (16 ounce) box powdered sugar

1 cup nuts

Directions

1) Mix first 8 ingredients, then heat next 3 and add gradually into first mixtures.

2) Grease 13X9X2 inch cake pan and cover bottom with 2 cups miniature marshmallows.

3) Pour batter over that. Bake at 350 degrees (preheated oven) for 35-45 minutes.

4) Pour icing over warm cake.

5) ICING FOR COCA COLA CAKE:

6) Heat margarine, cocoa, Coke and vanilla.

7) Pour over the powdered sugar and mix.

8) Add nuts.

9) Add frosting to the cake.

10) Cool before serving.

Yes, it is coke....

I used to work at a Chevron gas station and the Icee machine needed to have a CO2 (carbonated water) tank attached to the Coke and to the machine itself. If you don't believe me, next time your at an icee machine look for a little red light on the front that says "CO2"
