  1. define government ......are you talking about the so called peoples elected government or those that run the show ?


  2. The President, as the head of the Executive branch, is part of the Gov't.

        Checks and Balances. None of the branches have more power than the others.

  3. Are you kidding? The CEO of Exxon Mobil has more power than both of them combined!

  4. They all have different functions, but with checks and balances it makes them equal. It takes Congress to pass a law, but the president can veto the law. That's why sometimes they are gridlocked and don't accomplish much at all.
