Does the Hitachi HDC-571E record video with sound?

Question

It's 5MP, and i think it has like a microphone on it but im not sure if it is or not

Ive read the manual etc but it doesnt say how to enable sound or if it even HAS sound

Please help! I really need to know.

If you camera can record highly compressed MPEG2 video, it will record sound. The audio will be recorded with the video when you capture video. You do not have to do anything special but record the video.

Read the manual.

This is not a "camcorder". This is a still camera that happens to take highly compressed video.
