  1. because most irs auditors are men and they are not above getting their helmets polished in exchange for leniency on the tax codes


  2. It is an oxymoron to place "IRS" and "leniency" in the same sentence.

  3. I don't think there's an evidence to support either proposition.  I can hardly imagine that the IRS would be inclined to show any leniency at all, ever.
