Does the Japanese Dualshock 3 Cernamic White Playstation 3 controller work on US Playstation 3 systems?

yes, I have had one since last year, before the new dual shock was released in the US.  It works perfectly, and the white color is so awesome.

Yes it does. Bluetooth devices i.e. the PS3 controller aren't region specific so you will not have any problems. Once you take the controller out of the packaging, before pressing the PS button to turn the controller/PS3 on, turn your PS3 on manually, and connect your DS3 with the USB cable to your PS3. What that does is it registers that specific controller to your PS3.
