I have long curly hair and it's hard to manage so I usually go to the salon, but if I could do it myself it would save time and money.

  1. it uses strong chemicals, and any chemical work to your hair would cause some degree of damage. but u can use good treatments on your hair afterwards. this straightening system is no more harmful to your hair as bleach is, bleach actually strips all the hair of pigment, and theres plenty of people who get that done regularly. its just knowing how to look after your hair after u have had it done. just remember, as it is a relatively new hair straightening system, there will always be initial horror stories from people who have had it done, thats only because they need to learn how to manage the upkeep afterwards. i would recommend it if u are willing to take care of ur hair afterwards. and the hairdresser will assess ur hairs condition first, if its in a bad condition, then u may not be able to get it done. you must get it done by a professional, dont attempt this type of chemical treatment at home, or it will not turn out well!!

  2. I guess it will, But only a bit.

After all, dont most things damage your hair nowadays?

If you want the Japanese straightening treatment, I say go for it.

It will be alot more easy to manage and straight hair is gorgeous =]

  3. visit the following url

  4. The point is not to save money its to get it done by some one who knows what they are doing because those are strong f*cking chemicals. i would say just learn to love your natural hair texture

I got my hair japanese straightened it caused massive hair loss, and my hair was very, very damaged. I ended having to cut 3/4 of my hair off and start all over.
